How can I get more than 1 phone to work with my Talkit service?
If you would like more than one phone to work in your home you have 2 options;
1. you can get phone handsets that come in a pack of 2 to 6 and only one phone handset in that pack has a phone cord that needs to be connected to the Talkit device. The other phones are just connected to that one phone base wirelessly.
2. Rewiring your phone jacks. (this can be expensive)
- you will need to hire an electricians to wire your phone jacks so that the one phone jack that is connected to your internet modem is wired alone and all the other jacks are wired separate from the phone jack that is connected to your internet modem but the bell line from outside would need to be wired to only the phone jack that is connected to your internet modem
You can get all of the phone jacks in your home to work with your Talkit device. This may require some rewiring of your jacks and/or network interface box. There are videos on the internet and YouTube. However it is recommended that a licensed professional do any rewiring.
