How do I install my Talkit device?
Your Talkit device has either a LAN port only, or both a LAN and a WAN port.
LAN port only
1. Take the device out of the packaging.
2. Connect the supplied blue Ethernet cord from the Talkit device to a free port on your router or modem.
3. Plug in the power adapter that came with the device.
4. Connect your phone directly to the Talkit device. If there are two phone jacks, use Phone 1.
LAN and WAN ports
1. Take the device out of the packaging.
2. Use your own Ethernet cord to connect the Talkit WAN port directly to your internet modem.
3. Connect the supplied blue Ethernet cord from the Talkit LAN port to a free Ethernet port on your router. No router? Connect it to your computer.
4. Plug in the power adapter that came with the device.
5. Connect your phone directly to Phone 1 on the Talkit device.
Allow at least 5 to 7 minutes for the device to boot up. For help with your phone, see connecting your phone.
