why can't I receive my voicemail messages? When a voicemail message is left, it isn't in my Talkit voicemail box.
There are two reasons that You may not be able to retrieve your Talkit.ca voicemails
1. You have a separate answering machine connected, it could even be built right into your phone.
To fix this do the following;
A. If you have a separate answering machine connected, disconnect it.
B. If the answering machine is built into your phone, disable it.
2. You have your voicemail to email setup as forward.
To fix this do the following;
A. Login to your Talkit.ca account online at www.talkit.ca
B. Click on "My Account"
C. Locate the phone number that is associated with the voicemail that you are having the issue with, below the phone number you will see a Blue button that says "View"
D. Click on the Blue button that says "View"
E. Scroll down and you will see that tabs have been populated
F. Click on the "Voicemail Tab"
G. In the "Action" drop down menu, change it to "Copy"
H. Click on the button "Submit Voicemail to Email Request"
Your Done! The issue should now be resolved!
